01 okeetee corn pic

Kevin Saunders Sep 14, 2003 08:14 PM

I got a new pic of Slick yesterday. I think it shows off his yellow pretty well (it goes all the way down his body on the sides). Let me know what you think.

Beautiful! I've never seen one with so much yellow! That should be a trait bred for... hmmm...

Anyway, wonderful snake

it'd be tough to breed for that since you'd have to wait for babies to mature before you could tell which had that yellow. Anyway, I like the way it looks. It'd be cool if I could get that yellow to show up in some ghosts or aneries though.

Where did you get that corn?

Thanks. I bought him from a breeder named Doug Kranich in Maine. Slick was his last one left from that season, so I can only imagine what first picks looked like. He said his bloodline traced back to Kathy Love's, but I have noticed he has more yellow than I normally see in other Okeetees. I asked for Doug's e-mail on here about a year ago and someone gave it to me, but I don't have it anymore. I would highly recommend him though; you just might have to ask around to get in touch with him. I'll get some more pics of Slick this weekend if I have time.
