My wait continues...

boaphile Jun 27, 2009 11:50 AM

June 27, 2009 marks 109 days from the POS of the next female due to have a mess of little guys and gals along with a quart or so of baby Boa goo.

One time when I was explaining to my daughter that she was a geek, she exclaimed to me "the apple doesn't far from the tree!" That was classic and I suppose a post such as this is just further proof that in fact I am up a tree about to fall off my rocker. Not that I hadn't already lost my nut. Do walnuts grow on trees?

Today is 320 days since my last litter was born. If I take out that one litter that was born 320 days ago, since it was a secret breeding and I haven't been able to show off those babies as a result, then it's actually been 376 days! That's over a year since the Phile has been able to show any fresh goo!

I am... in a word... undone.

I think you'll feel much better if you go ahead and give some details about the breeding you keep referring to. Don't worry, none of us will tell anyone else about it !

give up television - 100% cold turkey. Leave what isn't real and go to what is real.
Spend time with nature, see the ground and the sky, feel your place on this earth,
see the trees, the plants, birds, animals, feel their life. And feel your own life.

Don't you think it would ease your pain to share that excitement until babies come? lol

That secret breeding isn't really a big deal. If I told you it would be anticlimactic. At least at this point it would be. More work to be done... Besides, I love secrets!

Don't you?

I'd have to guess that you'd want a solid white one with dark eyes , and resides in a Brazilian zoo

The Boa guy in me, without consideration of dollars, would actually like to have a utterly black Boa. Not almost black. Not one that turns mostly black. Not one that turns a very dark gray when it gets a little bigger. One that is as black as coal and stays that way. That's my dream Boa.

The part of me that has to think about the buisness end of things wants a Pied Boa first and a Lucy second. Both would be great!
