Day camp Reptile Educational Show.

I did another Reptile Educational Show for the Burns Harbor Day Camp this year and I may do two more for them in July and August. I do these for free so if I don't have to work I will be doing them. The kids love seeing and touching the snakes. The girls where less scared than some of the boys this time. Only had one little girl that did not want to touch the snakes so I told her it was fine and I would not bring the snakes by her but she did like looking at them. Now the counselors did not want to touch any of the snakes. LOL However the head counselors said she maybe getting her son a corn snake soon. I had my two older boys help me with the show and my older son took all the pictures for me. Anyway here are the pictures from the show.

Take care and thanks for looking.

That is so awesome that you do those, and that you do them for free is really awesome..we all need to get our kids involved in this wonderful hobby of ours early so they can have the joys that we enjoy every day...Thanks for sharing those photos. I bet that was a blast

What a great opportunity for those kids to learn and experience! Keep up the great work (it might make for a better future generation of politicians ).

Sometimes all it takes in a child's life is one positive experience like that to turn them into reptile lovers!

My kindergarten teacher had a very large burmese python that she used to get out during class & let us pet...

(Not to mention all the episodes of The Crocodile Hunter that I watched!)

My entire family was afraid of snakes, but from a very early age I was fascinated by them...

I started doing educational programs when I was 14, now I'm 18 and I still do my fair share!

It's so great to see the kid's faces, and I think that each of us in the hobby has a certain amount of responsibility in sharing our love for reptiles with the next generation.

The kids are the future & the animals' future as well... If they love the creepy crawlies, they will make more effort to protect them

Great Job! These experiences are so much fun & I hope you get to do the other presentations as well!
