WHAT IF THE BILL HR669 PASSES?

TOM_CRUTCHFIELD Jun 29, 2009 10:56 AM

When certain fisherman were put out of business by government mandates class action law suits followed and they were paid damages in some cases by the government. While I think we should fight this and any other bill to the death perhaps we should consider a class action lawsuit if we don't prevail. I remember some years ago this happened with some specific fisherman and if I remember correctly they prevailed in the end as a settlement was reached. Anyway this is just food for thought. Perhaps some of you that are more computer savy and have the time than I do might want to research this. I could be wrong but perhaps not. Thanks for reading...

As I understand the intent of this law and other proposals like it, all interstate commerce/transport of any species deemed "invasive" would be illegal by Federal Law. That would include any interstate commerce in captive bred and born specimens as well. That would be huge.
