Produuctive trip and nice shot of the buzzer, but hey, what about some more pics? (like I ever post any)

Unfortunately, I was limited in what I could take photos of, as I only had a macro lens with me. I included a few shots from previous trips.

Kokernot Plateau Black-Tail

Western-slope Big Hill Texas Lyre Snake

Sonoran Gopher (HWY 90 between Marfa and Valentine)

From previous trips...

Boy Scout Diamondback

Horned Lizard (2810 southwest of Marfa)

Sawtooth Mountain Black-Tail

Isn't that 2810 a pretty road? Gorgeous High desert/grassland habitat and the scenery is fantastic as well. Saw my first Aplomado falcons on that road! Here's a big glossy crossing that road last summer...

Yes, beautiful road, whether herping or not, especially if you've got 4 wheel drive, and can make it down into Pinto Canyon.

From 2810...

Down in Pinto Canyon...

Great images - thanks!

It'd be nice if someone would post field pics here. I can't make it out to west TX this year. I have a trip to central Mexico this month and hope to look around Utah before my honeymoon in yellowstone after that. Remember when this forum was the best???
