D. mysteriosus

yeagermeister111 Sep 14, 2003 09:38 PM

Let me preface by saying I don't want them, and no longer keep frogs (just to reiterate that since people don't seem to be hearing me say that), but where are you guys getting your D. mysteriosus from? I'm just curious. I was offered them several times from different places, but they are just a little (ok a lot) too shady for me to keep.
Best,
Justin

May be personal and if you don't want to anwser thats fine but what made you quit keeping darts? I would give my first born if thats what it took to keep going in this hobby.lol

I may be way offbase with this question and if so I'm sorry.

Hi,
It's not personal at all, and I thought I explained, but no problem. I am now doing research on Dendrobatids, so it is no longer appropriate for me to keep, breed, and sell them. There were incidences of people possibly (or actually) doing things with frogs from research and them getting out and/or abusing their permits. I don't want anyone at all to think that I am studying them to get ahead in the hobby, so I got out of all my frogs and that part of the hobby. That is why lately I have been posting a lot. I have a ton of information that I have learned, so I now want to help out those who are keeping them. Retirement isn't that far off in the distance (only 30 years or so), and then you all better watch out because I will be back with more passion than ever!
Best,
Justin
