Lokken Pastel Het Anery 2004 litter

Rick2 Jun 30, 2009 10:12 PM

Hi everyone. I don't post that often but I saw a post from Ruben on the 26th regarding John Lokkens 04 Pastel Het Anery litter so I wanted to see if anyone had recent pictures of animals from that litter. I acquired one of the female from that litter was originally purchased by Gray Rushin, who then sold it to Ryan of Top Notch Boas. I purchased her from Ryan when she was about 18 month old. She was very small for her age when I got her but she has matured into a big beautiful animal and has maintained a very nice color. She definitely one of my favorites in the collection. The picture on the rock is her at about 2 1/2 years old and the one of her coiled up was take a few day ago. I tried to breed her this year to a salmon jungle male but I believe he was to young. Does anyone else have any pictures of the siblings? I would love to see what they look like today.

Thanks,
Rick Douglas

Very NICE! I'll have to try and get some pix of my girl soon. I still need to figure out what i'm going to breed to her.

Thanks Ruben. Can't wait to see the pictures of your girl. As far as breeding goes I have a couple of options. I have a very clean male pastel het anery from John's 06 litter pairing of his Kirby ghost x Lucy pastel. What I am really hoping for is that my 08 anery motley that I acquired from Jeremy Stone is ready to go to work. He has a good size and may just get the job done. If none of those work then the salmon jungle should be more than ready next season. He was an aggressive breeder but again he is only a 2007 animal.

Thanks,
Rick Douglas

Funny you should say that Larry. I was thinking of breeding my Sharp het Anery male to her. Some Pastel Aneries and Pastels het Sharp sound good. Or the Blonde or VPI male. It's always good to have a legit Pastel in your collection to clean and color things up.

I had a yearling pair of Lokken's Suri Dh Ghosts. Just amazing
animals.
