if a tokay lays its eggs on the side of the tank how would i incubte it?

Just let it hatch out there, you dont want to try to remove it. It will take around 100 days depending on the temp range she layed it in. You can tape a small clear deli dish arond them to the wall for safety if you want. Ive had some eggs eaten by one of my females but that was before she started laying. Right now I have 2 loose babies in with my adults that hatched out in the last week and they are always right next to a adult protecting them so unless you Tokays are under fed I doubt thell eat the babies when they hatch. If you use a deli dish cover, I poked small pin holes in mine for breathing and humidity.

You can rely on the tokays. They will never eat their babies. Babies even grow better if they stay together with their parents.
So just do nothing-maybe slightly mist the vicinity of the eggs every other day.
Incubatuion time in a tank may vary from 90 to over 200 days. So be patient.
Males start to chase their sons when they are about 6 months old. But chasing starts gently, so it will be enough timne to remove tha abies.

BTW I have 16 tokay babies from this year and 14 more eggs to hatch..
