Some new hatchlings and a question

Markus Jayne Jul 02, 2009 06:28 PM

Well it gets more and more exciting here every day with little heads pipping out. Here are some new arrivals.

The first are some butter pins but I am showing the 2 because I am not sure if the one on the right is a Butter Pastel Pin. It's came from a butter pin X pastel jungle breeding. What do you think?

This is another picture of the snake in question.

This is a Butter Bumble Bee after its first shed. They really yellow up with age.

And this is a Butter Pastel. Another snake that gets better with age.

And last but not least a new addition to the bull pen...a nice Desert male from the original Stan Chiras male. I look forward to what he will do with some of these crosses.

Thanks again for looking!

Markus

In my opinion the snake in question looks like a butter pastel pin to me. I am no expert noir do I work with pinstripes. With that said it has more of richer color then the one on the left.

I would say not a Butter Pastel Pin Markus. I expect that the added Pastel gene would make a lighter combo with a busier pattern. As you well know -- all combos are variable.

My opinion is... that is one SWEET Butter Pin!! Well done!!

Markus, whether it's a butter pastel pin or "just" a butter pin, it is gorgeous! Congrats!

I am also envious of your desert male. I keep promissing myself that I'll get a desert one of these days . . . .

Sorry Mark it is not a Butter SpinnerBlast. They have a white head and that one does not!

Congrats on the new hatchlings! Nice pick up on the Desert!
