Pewter Mojave !

JohnBerry Jul 03, 2009 06:18 PM

Hatched this baby a few days ago. Wanted to make sure she was a Mojave Pewter and not just a bright Pewter before I posted her. She has much more yellow and colour than a regular Pewter. (Once she sheds I'll post her next to some regulars)

Dad was a Blonde Pewter I hatched in 05 and mum was my first Mojave female from 04.

Clutch was 6 eggs with 0.1 Pewter Mojave, 1.0 Pewter, 1.1 Cinny Mojaves and 1.1 Mojaves. After last years crappy season, this year is quickly making up for it !

cheers, John

Very nice John!! I would expect her to yellow-up a bit as she ages and become higher contrast. Well done.

Hi Bill, yes I would agree. Dad is still a very bright Pewter as well (from a Blond-ish Pastel line) so I expect a lot of yellow and contrast in this girl.
