Pewter breeding project

SlytherLyn Jul 03, 2009 07:35 PM

I'm new into BPs, bought my first one at a show last September, a male Mojave. He's awesome and I'm now totally hooked on Balls. This year I bought him a female Mojave and a female Pastel Lesser Platinum. I'm hoping for some Blue Eyed Lucys in a few years.

I also started up a new group. All babies now so I'll have to be patient and wait a few years. I'm going with a Pewter for my male. I put a deposit on him today. For females I bought an unrelated Pewter, a Pastel, and a Bumble Bee.

I think this will be a fun group to work with. The 4 snakes are beautiful on their own and will be a joy to own and watch grow up. And the variety of morphs I can produce are mind boggling. I still haven't formulated an actual list of all of the morphs but I know it's a long list. Bit confused still on Silver Streaks and Silver Bullets.

Here are pics of my 3 new girls. I hope to get the male soon.

And here I am still breeding the ingredients to make a pewter. Haha.

Awesome collection.

Yeah, you are doing it the smart way. I'm sure when my credit card bills come in next month I'll be thinking I should have gone the smart route too. But gosh darn they are so cute and I just had no willpower once I saw them and held them. But I seriously need to put an end to it now and not buy any new ones. I did put a down payment on the male Pewter so will follow through with that. And I'm getting a female Cinnamon for free, or close to free, from a friend. But then I need to just drum up some willpower to call it quits.

Hey lyn. When can we come over and see the new pick -ups?
Where are you getting a free cinnamon?

I should have some cinny babies next season, which I will probably trade for other morphs. Haha.
