A few days ago I posted that my beardie's colors were looking very dull. Tonite to my suprise I walked in the room and her belly was snow white and her colors were fire orange and green very very vivid colors. I have no idea what could have caused this....Does anyone have any ideas??? Thanks.

alot of things can affect color..are her temps better than before.. has she just got done shedding..maybe she was stressed before.... i find that the best time for my beardies to show there true color is outside, right after a bath, or when they are sleeping.. ohh and fired up. she sounds beautiful.. do you have a pic

Over time you'll learn they can chage colors very quickly. My beadie at one point can be VERY dark colors, with a VERY dark distinct pattern on her belly and as soon as 10 mins later, she'll have a bright white patternless belly, and the rest of her will be bright orange and red with a little green here and there. Seems to depend somewhat on light and temp and more on mood. (Although the colors don't seem to represent a specific mood, just a change in color seems to represent a change in mood. Odd, hard to figure out.)
