Bent scales?

RainbowBright Jul 04, 2009 02:59 PM

Ever since I got my '08 coral albino in the mail I've noticed she has patches on her sides where a bunch of scales are bent inward. I thought it might go away in a little time and after a shed but she still has it. I'll take some pictures of it after she is done digesting her meal although I don't have the greatest camera in the world. Does anyone know what this might be? or what is causing it?

Nothing to worry about. Very common.

some people say its from them not having enough room to move around. kind of like when you get the pressure spots on your arm or leg from having it against something too long

yea if shes curled up all the time, the scales just crimp up along the lines of where she is bent when curled.. no big deal. very common and normal.
