CA Hypo Motley litter!

cbmorphs Jul 04, 2009 05:34 PM

These were just born yesterday morning 07/03/09...

This is my first litter of Central American Boas...It was a breeding between a 06 Hypo Central 100% het T positive (dame) to a 06 CA Motley 100% het T positive (sire), both animals are from Pete K. I'm really disappointed they didn't prove out, as they were both supposed to be 100% het T positive animals. I was really looking forward to possibly seeing a Sunglow T positive Motley or at least some T positive Motleys.

There was 6 healthy ones, one stillborn and a slug. There's 3 or 4 Motleys out of the 6 live ones. The stillborn looked to be a Motley possibly a T positive, but more than likely a Hypo Motley, I'm not sure?
The babies are all pretty big, which is probably a good thing she only had 7 considering the mothers size!

Anyway here's the pics,

Thanks for looking!

Happy 4th of July everyone!!!

Great litter! I wouldn't worry about the genetics of the parents. Next time you'll get the babies you hoped for I'll bet. The next litter will presumably be larger and you'll have a better chance of getting some of those T-Positives in there.

The Motleys are really dark! I really love the dark Motleys!
