Pastel Fires (Firefly)

brookside Jul 05, 2009 02:30 PM

We produced a couple more of these gems this year and were really excited to finally hatch a male (first pic on left). It is incredible how bright these snakes become as they get older. We also love how variable they can look as it relates to pattern and blushing. All of these were produced by breeding Fire to Pastel.

Here's a pic of the two Pastel Fires we produced a few weeks ago.

Here's a pic of two Pastel Fires that we held back from last year.

Here's a final pic comparing a Pastel to a Pastel Fire.

Please post some pics of your Pastel Fires or Pastel Fire crosses. We'd love to see them!

I believe the Super Pastel Fires have been produced but I haven't seen photos. Maybe someone will post one. So far I've seen pics of the Bumblebee Fire, Spider Fire, and Cinnamon Fire.

Here is my 07' Male FireFly. I've handled him a lot so, he is not shy and is a real character. He has sired a clutch with a female pastel that should be on the ground in about 10 days.
