Hey guys, This is a little bit of a different question.
But, I keep all my dragons in a 10x20 insulated building w/ power run to it, ect. But during the summer time I have huge trouble keeping it from cooking everyone. I live in Georgia, so the heat sucks during the summer time. I have an 8000btu "window" unit that puts out some cold freakin' air, but Im thinking that it may be the location of the conditioner that is the issue. I have it in the window.. and directly beside it is one of my incubators along w/ on the other side some cages.. so its kind of squeezed in there. My thoughts were to but it in the wall on the end of the building up higher in the air, where it would probably be cooling the hot air down, while also being opened up more so its not so shut off from the rest of the building. I also have two fans that try to help circulate the air, and I figured if the AC is up higher and directed across the entire area, rather than one end, it would have to help it more than it is currently! Lol. So anyhow, what are your thoughts on it? Do you think that would help, and do you guys have any suggestions? Thanks guys!!
