Very nice Todd! When I sold off the collection the east TX specs were some of the hardest to part with.

Thanks all, these were the first specks I ever encountered, and eggs that John Lassiter and I hatched, several years back. Since then, I have found this population along with splendida and very messy looking intergrades. But these are what I would call pure, locality specks.

got it, sent back, if you search the archives, you can see the first adult male I caught, SCREAMIN' yellow, I have lost all the files from back then, John may have a shot from his camera. That dude was found in a piece of vinyl flooring and was not so much a shock to find (I knew they were there) but a shock to see, it had some killer orange highlights and was the pattern for that walking staff I had made. I have had a few more that showed a little red on the belly as hatchlings, Brad, do you have any of those? Those will turn out nice, IMO.

Nice specks ya have there!! They are always nicer in person as well. My KS w/c gets nicer every time I look at him.

Thanks Joe! Those Kansas snakes are super cool too, I like the few checkerboard patterned ones I have seen here and there. The field guys from Kansas find some cool stuff!
