I got 4 large eggs from my little santa-rita female,one went bad early on but the other 3 hatched no alive and well.
Unfortunatly it looks like 2 of them are going to be stuborn little devils to get feed,anyone any tips?

beautiful babies and great shots to boot. Many techniques are at your disposal so long as you're willing to be patient. Here are a few to start: live pinks, brained pinks, tease feeding, scented pinks (various lizards can be tried -- which I'm sure you know are the primary food source for montane kings), taking a swatch of lizard skin and pasting to a pinky head, etc etc.

Most pyros generally aren't as tough as alterna and zonata, but can be tough in their own right. Allow for digestion of remaining yolk as well post-hatch, and then begin with basic options and moving on to more detailed ones over time. Hope this nutshell "101" offering helps a bit. Keep us posted?

very nice, I would go with lizard scenting, get some lizards, some tequila, pour a shot of tequila in a shot glass, put some lizards in a blender with a few teaspoons of water, shoot the tequila, blend the lizards and water. You can freeze the juice after scenting the pinkies and reuse many, many times. You may want to kill the lizards first, and shoot some more tequila after blending.

mmmmmmmmm,i have tried pink heads,live pinks etc,etc,looks like ill have to get a hold of a little lizard,not sure im to to killing them though,maybe try the pink wraped in lizard skin first.

Well, the good thing is you only need one, it will last a year or more if needed. That's why you do the tequila, lol!

lol,figuered that! does whisky work just aswell?? being from ireland and all.

if the pinky wraped in lizardb skin doesnt wrok then i may have to get the blender out!

of course whiskey works, gin, rum, vodka, scotch, Long Island Ice Tea, whatever sends you there, lol! I was just funnin' tequila is good for margaritas later if all goes well, and just keep shooting it if it doesn't work out, lol!
