Killer blast

robertseib Jul 07, 2009 07:46 PM

I was very lucky this year. I had a small clutch of 5 eggs from a pastel to a lemon blast crossing that produced this pretty male killer blast.

Then I had a clutch of 8 eggs from another different pair that produced another 1.2 killer blasts. I could not even believe my good luck.

After they put on a few hundred grams their yellow pigments fill in and they are really pretty.

Very cool, the post shed pics look great and those are unbelievable odds on the second clutch! Congrats!

I believe a Killer blast is a super pastel spinner and what you have is a super blast.

Oh, then I apologize for my mistake. I had thought that the super pastel spider pinstripe was a Killer spinner blast.

Nice odds indeed. The Lemon Blast in the picture is gorgeous as well.
