Addition to the water?

disturbed Jul 08, 2009 04:55 PM

Im curious to see how many of you guys do actually use well water or city water for your boas? I use tap water and have really never seen a problem in breeding or keeping but with you guys saying that you use bottled water has me a little nervous. Are there tests for your water to see whats in it exactly and what should be considered bad to look for in it? Thanks for advice in advance.

Keith

you may not want to know whats in the water depending on where you live

Here is a point, there are many brands of bottled water that are actually right out of the faucet....I think walmarts great value brand is bottled in Arkansas right from the municipal water....says so on the bottle.

I use a "pur" water filter on my faucet in the kitchen and in the snake room....don't know if it helps but makes me feel better

Hi Keith,

I use either bottled water or I filter tap water with a brita system, however, we have pretty good quality tap water here in the East Bay, CA. When I was in Las Vegas they had terrible water quality so it was bottled water all the way.
