I would like to know the history of this morph...where did they come from? I also noticed there are not many listed in the classifieds.

I would like to know the history of this morph...where did they come from? I also noticed there are not many listed in the classifieds.

They are fairly uncommon. The story as told to me by the late great Lloyd Lemke was that an albino was found in the wild sometime in the 80's in New Jersey that was in pretty rough shape. It was a female and was missing an eye. All pure northern albinos are descendants of this snake, as far as I know.

Check the link below. In my experience they are not that uncommon in captivity.
double check what year jersey passed the law protecting certain species...including pines, from being collected, except under permit...and then would not be allowed to sold or traded...and would be belong to the state of jersey????.....CAN OF WORMS....
