Is it normal for females to continue feeding throughout the time they are gravid? I have a female that I believe is gravid, just about to shed, and has continued feeding weekly the entire time (though I have been giving her smaller meals). I mostly breed pythons, and I've never bred alterna, so I'm not sure exactly what to expect here.
