Bittersweet Day

xrayeric1993 Jul 10, 2009 10:09 AM

Today is my daughter's tenth (born at 4lbs 6 oz) birthday and my T positive Argentine litter's birthday. Unfortunately, my litter consisted of slugs, two deformed neonates, and one normal neonate. However, I'm glad to report my daughter is perfecly healthy and the neonate Argentine looks great. Better luck next year I guess.

Bummer on the poor odds litter. Thankfully you did receive 1 live one to show she can produce em

Better luck next time.

While I don't breed my boas (haven't decided to yet at least and won't be able to for a few years even if I do) I do breed my pythons and I had a similar season with them. I'm sorry to hear you had such poor outcomes, but then again, at least the viable neonate proves that she can produce healthy young.

Tell your daughter Happy Birthday from us! If she is into boas also she should at least get a kick out of sharing a birthday with the new addition!
