Brown Water Pythons breeding info needed

Anyone have any personal experience breeding these (L. fuscus)? We have a pair that, if I read Ross and Marzec's book correctly, they're old enough (4 years old)and possibly big enough (4-5 feet long), but my husband's hesitant because he thinks the female should be bigger as we don't want her to get egg-bound. Insights, anyone?
