Well, I've done it! I implanted both of my indigos with AVID chips. One is age three and the other four. I put them out with halothane and with advice from this collum I injected the chip into the the space where the ventrals meet the first true lateral scale about 25 ventrals forward from the vent. My job was a hair shallow but you wouldn't know it was there at all unless you knew and hunted. Very proud of myself. This may seem a little over board to some folks but I have my snakes out a lot and snakes will be snakes...S.
