Off Topic.... A new tattoo

symetryexotics Jul 11, 2009 05:35 AM

Hey guys a little info about this tattoo. On 7-7-07 I turned 21.
Pretty self explanitory, but I wanted to show this off. I fell
asleep during this little session, and he put a STUPID face in
the middle. They were supposed to be candycane 7's. Either way
it took up until 2 days ago to get the lining redone. Dont know
why, well most likely because I got flames around my left wrist
and it pretty much ruined me for tattooing. Just hurts. That darn
wrist bone.
Just think if I would have gambld that night. No one really has
that b-day (my day), and dont know what the numbers or statistics
would be but I know it is high lol!! You all have a good one and
thanks for looking. I love tattoo's and wihin the next month I
am going to have complete sleeves (both arms)but need something
from you guys (the reason I am posting).

Does ANYONE have a RARE looking Jungle that they would be willing
to take SWEET pics (multiple- upper, lower, sides, ect) of that
specific Boa and PM me pics? I would be SO THRILLED, and honestly
your snake would be on my arm. I would like something exotic if
at all possible.

So here is my 777 Tattoo, and about the size of a Cigarette Pack

Let me know what you guys think. I know it is not much but as you
can tell, I have a lot of lower forearm to fill (BOA)
THANKS AGAIN, AND LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!!!!

An import (08') female that does not have Black Pinstripes, but
Chocolate Pinstripes.... weird.. Any opinions? The person that I
got her from picked her from some 1000+ imports, and pretty sure
it is an Imported Jungle. Dont know for sure, only time will tell
of course!! Hope you like!

Sorry for the Lame shot next

I am so thrilled with her, I would have to say she is my favorite
Boa yet! She had a nasty prolapse when I recieved her in the mail
but I had great help from great people, and I got her to get her
cloaka back in within a couple hours (did not want to hurt her).
I did not feed her for 4 weeks, and she looked really thin by the
time she had another meal, but I felt that prolapse needed to be
healed before I irritate her tummy with a furry hopper rat. Did I
do the right thing? Here is her the day I opened up the Box.

And OUCH! Did I do the right thing here? Keeping it wet?

Thanks guys for any and ALL comments!

Great looking boa and as I have no experience with prolapses I can't say whether you did the right thing or not, but it sounds like you did. It probably couldn't hurt to keep the meals small for a little while.

As for that animal being a jungle. I am 100% positive it is not. I'm not saying the aberrant pattern is not genetic, only multiple breedings will prove that. What I am saying is that it's not a jungle and here's why:

1) The animal looks nothing like a jungle save for the aberrant pattern. Jungles are MUCH more than just an aberrant pattern.

2) "Jungle" refers to a line of boas started by Lars Brandle in Sweden. The only way that boa could be a jungle is if it's a descendant of his line, which it is not (obviously, it's an import) and had the genetic traits known as "jungle". If he had named the "jungle" mutation "Brandle line" boas instead, I think there would have been a lot less confusion. You wouldn't have unscrupulous dealers saying that a boa is a jungle boa, when it's clearly not, perhaps like the person who sold you that boa for a hopefully not inflated price.

Having said all that, pretty boa! I hope you get its health on track and enjoy a million great experiences with it in the years to come!

Thanks John! I feel the same way as you. Though even the Swedish
Jungle came from Columbia. I highly doubt it is Jungle, I just
had to say what was said about this specific animal. Neat huh?
100% aberrant

Has some very similar characteristics to a female that was imported out of Guyana maybe... a year ago? Imported by Incredible Pets. Except the Guyana also had a reverse striped tail. Cool stuff!

Not too sure. Tom Crutchfield got her, then went to a guy named
Bill from California, then to me. Thanks for the nice compliment!

Not at all for the price. Forgot to write that. She was a touch
cheaper than a Classic Jungle, but a little spendy.
I also wanted it to be known that I am not hoping for this to
be Jungle. The chances of it being one are slim to none, but I
DO HOPE her pattern is Genetic, hopefully like the Stripeline
or Super Stripers. Only one can hope though lol!! Hope you are
well!
