I just picked up a beatufilu pair of females for a great price. I now possibly believe one to be male. Still a great deal. The question is if they have been raised together (in the same tank quite often) will they still breed. I know other animals will not.

Tough question. I would have to say yes, if conditions are right
and muscle mass is there.
