4 wheel 2 level cart request for help

thunderpaws Jul 12, 2009 02:29 PM

Hi,

Does anyone know a company or place to buy a grey 2 level 4 wheel cart that I know some of the larger breeders use in their breeding rooms. I am looking for one that I can clean my CB 70s on. So the base of the top would need to be around 20 X 40. Thanks if you can lead me in the right direction.

Rubbermaid has a selection. Got mine from globalindustrial.com. On the west coast, Orchard Supply has one or two models in stock usually; don't know about retail outlets points east.

OK,

I just bought the one from Globalindustrial item #498529. I love the flat top model. Thank you for the site. I am also getting a 25 dollar rebate. This is just what I wanted.

Thanks for the lead,
Bill R.

Man,

I can't tell you how I am going to enjoy not knelling on my floor to clean tubs anymore.

Thanks again,

Sears has them and so does Northern Tool.

Northern Tool had them for $99 some time back for the larger ones and the smaller ones are cheaper.

I like the smaller carts better. They're easier to move around the room. I swapped the 2 stationary wheels for 2 swivel ones so I now have 4 swivel wheels. That makes it a lot easier to move around also.

Hi,

I like the tip on the swivel wheels. I will see about changing mine as well. The one I bought comes with a flat top cover so I can use it specifically as a work table. I love it. It is larger than the normal ones. I think it is 40 by 24. I wanted the larger surface area.

Thanks again,
Bill R.

I got other swivel wheels from a local Harbor Freight store. You may find them online at http://www.harborfreight.com or maybe at a local Northern Tool or northerntool.com.

I just took one of the swivel wheels from the cart in and found some that were the closest match.

I just picked up the coolest drop leaf kitchen cart from crate and barrel at a yard sale for $5. It is perfect for tubs on top & has storage drawers underneath. The drop leaves make it easy to store in a little space, but pop them up for cleaning the 40 gals.

Here is a link of similar carts:

Try posting a wanted add on craigslist.
