breeding my hypo...suggestions?

wdwilson9 Jul 12, 2009 09:02 PM

i am interested in future breeding of my male hypo. i have heard that breeding with an albino will produce a sunglow? and with an anery it will produce a ghost? breeding with another hypo will produce a super hypo? what do you recommend? and what could i produce with the offspring of each of these breeding projects? do you think it would be best to purchase multiple females to breed to this one male or should i have several of both sexes? i am new to this, so i am just trying to gather a little bit of information. i would greatly appreciate any suggestions or input. again thanks for reading

Is your hypo het for albino or anery? If he is not then any of the babies from those breedings would be dh sunglow or dh ghost and breeding to another hypo only a percentage would be supers but until proven they would only be possible supers. If I have left anything out im sure someone will let me and you both know hope this helps

i was at a reptile show looking at a table full of baby boas, and the guy told me that all the boas on the table were litter mates...he had regular boas, a few hypos, and some hypo pastels...so i dont exactly know what his parents were. also what does the term "pastel" mean? any feedback would be appreciated! thanks,

david
