How long at 92F

AllBalledUp Jul 13, 2009 07:46 PM

Before eggs are cooked. Unexpected heat wave and couldn't leave work so the snake shed just baked. Incubator looks like it sat at 92 for 3-4 hrs. I hate my job.

Some of the "farms" in Africa incubate at 95 degrees...

I wouldn't go that high for a long period of time, but a couple hours should be no problem unless its VERY late in the incubation...

Thanks, one clutch at the 28th day, the other just two days old. So should still be good then . Appreciate the response. Huge relief.

92 for a few hours -- no big deal.
