I am STUMPED!!! I have been keeping tortoises including GA for 15 years. when it comes to sexing I thought I know best. But here is what I saw today.
I was given a sub adult as a recue 2 mo ago, I thought his plastron was starting to concave, also when he sees other toroises he head bobs and will try to ram. But today when i got home I noticed that he had been digging... tis the season, in his bowl that he dug is the start of a cyl like a nest for eggs.
Im stumped, does anyone know of any other sexing techniques? what about tail lenght like russians?
