Okay, My little guy seems to be eating well and I have tryed to change up for him and all but The guy I got him from gave my this bird sead and I dont know what type it is, but he seems to only wanna eat the little green things in it. I know that I have to get the shelled kind but do you know of a brand that might have the best type for him.?

Hi,
I just read youre previous post's and that you got a new Uro Congrats!!
As far as food goes, birdseed is kind off a side dish and not really what he should mainly be eating.
Uromastyx are mostly herbivores, and should be eating mostly greens. The main ones are dandelion greens, turnip greens, & mustard greens, these are the most recommended as a staple.
There is a site that has great information on uro's its www.deerfernfarms.com if you look at the care sheet it will give you a much better idea of whats good and not for your uro.
As far as birdseed, sunflower seeds are a big NONO make sure whatever you get doesnt have any, most finch seed mixes are OK, I personaly have Kaytee finch seeds.
