Cosala Sinaloans - just how big?

Dniles Jul 14, 2009 09:14 PM

Check this out...this is one of my adult males that is 4 years old. I know its hard to read but the tip of is nose is right at 50" and his tail is curled a little bit and would go past the edge of the tape.

Here is a shot with a bill

Here is one of his offspring already cose to 2 feet and just one year old.

Wow, that's a monster and a beautful Sinaloan too! The Cosalas are definitely in their own niche...

Notwithstanding the size, that's one spectacular Sinaloan! The triads are gorgeous, and the red is BRIGHT. Staighten him out completely (tail, head, and mid body), and you're probably looking at 53". Adding its great personality and ease of care, they're hard to beat as excellent pets.

Amazing! Don, do you have any photos of this particular Cosala or any other particular large ones? Cosalas have to be one of my favorite snakes...

Dan, I didn't get a photo. He came from Stu Tennyson who got him from Byron Barnes. It had 4 inch red bands. Don
