breeding mini mealworms

does anyone have any info on how to breed mini mealworms. i already breed both regulare mealworms and superworms and was just wondering if they are the same as either or where they differ. thanks in advance. adam

All three are different species, but raising them should be close to identical.

I can only speculate as the info is still confidential from the few who do breed.

Both mini and standard and Superworms are larvae of a Darkling beetle but are different species. So care should be close but not identical per-say. I know Superworms have to be stressed to molt into beetles Mealworms can be refrigerated to slow the process and I don't know about mini's other than like Super's they can't be refrigerated.

My best suggestion would be to start with your current process with a small grow and see what works...
