They eat you out of house and home and poop every two days.lolThese two locked up 6 times this year last time being a month ago. There a little on the thin side but there pounding small rats now.Im not sure if the male is shooting blanks or the female is sterile.Im going to put them to sleep for 5 months this time around and maybe change my luck. There truly a great snake to work with.P

Not only the duration matters, the temperature at which the animals are brumated is very important as well. Try to stay as close as possible to 10 degrees Celsius for about 4 months, and they'll do just fine. Actually, a few degrees lower wouldn't hurt at all. Good luck with them. Great looking snakes BTW.

Mine went off feed in August last year. They were cooled for the same duration as the rest of my colubrids (late November through mid-February) at the same temperatures (in the sixties, with the average temperature being 65 degrees). I had a 100% hatch rate. Sometimes first time breeder snakes don't "get it right" but do well the second time around.

Hey Paul,
Nice looking snakes. Haven't heard from you in a while. Give me a call some time or shoot me an email.

Take care
