This poor devil only slit its' egg enough to get stuck. When I got home yesterday it was in this position and totally worn out. I'll post this one after the next shed, he looks like he's axanthic in some of my other shots.

me too! I really like these guys a lot and I only got two good eggs this year, 13 last year.
