Today got the Surgeon Appt for Tuesday at 10:00 Am. Hpe all goes
well. Today at 12:45 (a few hours) is a Ultrasound.

You all are very awesome and words cannot describe the feelings
I have for each and everyone of you. Thanks guys and hope you
NEVER have to deal with ths kind of scare.

That is good Kenny, sounds like things are moving quickly and you are staying on top of it

I had a friend who was battling an ilness, he had no one to help him and I was overwhelmed with information when I sat with him at his appointments. I tried to take notes but couldn't keep up...I finally convinced three of the four Doctors to let me record the info givin so I could better understand how to help him and get more infromation.

You all are still in our thoughts and prayers.

Don't tread on me!

As I see it, MOST Doctors can give a crap what happens, and that
is a shame. I am tat gy that makes sure things go smoothly, if I
a not happy, THEY ARE NOT HAPPY and they actually have to do
their job adequately. Proper care is key to beating an illness
PERIOD. You guys are sucha great support system, andI thank you
AGAIN for that. Your the man Joel

They did not even call to let me know what the results are for
her Ultrasound, now I have to wait until Monday.. Suspense....
This is SO AGGRAVATING!! Then on Tuesday she has to have Surgery
on hr neck to get a Biopsy from one of the many Tumors. I have
NO CLUE how long that will take. Thanks Steph

Sometimes I wonder if some doctors/medical staff see so much pain, suffering, and grief that they become numb to it, because sometimes their lack of concern in setting folks at ease in a timely manner can be apalling. Although I must say that in a tentative way, because I know they are very busy people. I hope your doctors are professional AND empathetic in such a way that they do not cause you any longer of a wait than is necessary! Stay strong and may the time pass quickly!

I think you have it 33.3% correct. Another 33.3% is people who
care. This last 33.3% is what we are under..... They were born
into a wealthy family and thought being a Doctor would be fun for
the DATING REALM,not the actual care for a patient. For the last
year, we have been demanding these tests that they are giving now
and with EVERY DOCTOR WE SAW, they said it was a Viral infection
and wait, wait, wait.... My father talked to his buddy which is a
Pitbull in the Attorney's realm (Medical Claims) and if it comes
back cancer (which is already what they think as of 5 or so days
ago), we have all the evidence to file and DEMOLISH a Multi Multi
Million Dollar lawsuit. Please dont think I am being greedy BY
ANY MEANS, but if a Hospital with over 10-15 Doctors at different
locations (same branch, different locations), my dad's friend
said that 50-300 Million is what their insurance pays out for
Child neglegence with a possible deadly consequence. My wife is
going to the Doctor's from now on unfortunately because I WILL
let my anger out of control. Being a Doctor means 100% helping
not "I tink it is this' with no symptoms to back it up. It took
my daughter to get almost 105. fever (104.7) to get them to open
their eyes. We alreay have a smaller lawsuit for child neglegence
if none else.
I hope I make an example out of these Doctors, so they up their
STANDARDS, or the Doctors get fired. More tests need to be done
to everybody to eliminate illnesses, notjust 1 illness. I hope I
make sense Steph, I dont want to sound like a greedy person, but
someone has to pay for this, and 5k-10k does not make a Hospital
flinch.... They need to have a major set-back so HIGHER STANDARDS
ARE MADE. Thanks for being here with me supporting Steph, I am
most truely greatful!

That's sure another twist to the story... and not a good one! I hope you prevail in that aspect as well then!

I completely support legal action being taken for the reasons you put forth, not to mention... for the future needs of your child. Having severe health, or other, disabilities can be costly... especially when they aren't caught early on. Which is what should have happened here. If they had actually looked beneath the surface of the problem, spent a little more time investigating, they could have possibly stopped this issue before it came to this point. So, in my honest opinion, that reason alone is also good enough to take up a lawsuit. This is likely to be a lifelong pressure... on finances and in your hearts. Money is not compensation enough for what this has, and may still, put you through.

Well wishes... I will keep my eyes open for the results of the appt and tests!
