So my best bro has my snakes over there because my place
does not allow them period. Well I decided to hook him up
with my friend so he can try to start a relationship. Well
they did and over the last 3 months he has been very VERY
neglegent in letting me come over and do snake stuff. For
a little bit I was ok, but last night I don know what
happened. I think his girlfriend has something to do with
it (DUH!)! Either way I need some suggestions. I have to
get them out tonight or tomorrow or they go to homeless
shelter or something like that. I also cannot risk my family
over my PASSION (not hobby). He is being so heartless and
he knows I have nowhere to take them (1.3). I am into them
around 4500, 1 of which was 3500, and it looks like Im
screwed.

SOMEBODY PLEASE SAY I DO NOT HAVE TO EUTHENIZE THEM!!!!!

These are my heart, and it is my fault for not having a place
of my own to have them, but trust my best friend of 10 years
that wanted to be in a partnership together just screwed me.
I dont get is logic, well I do he is wanting some love and
throws everyone out the door. I am just so irritated/angy/sad
at losing my bro, and possibly having to lose the snakes
permenantly.

Any suggestions?? I will be home in about 4-5 hours max

i would suggest just selling them and and rebuild youre collection when its better suitable for youre situation after all you said theres only 3 or so animals anyway regards

I wouldn't worry about having to euthanize them. What you may have to accept is that you might be giving them away. Contact a few of the North West reptile keepers and find out if they'll take the animals on long term breeding loans.

You can do something like this: Hand the animals to a breeder and that breeder gets to keep them through at least 1 breeding season. When you get your own home or are finally in a situation that you can keep your own collection, no partnerships, then you allow the breeder to keep the animals until the end of that breeding season and he keeps all the babies produced while in his care.

I don't mean to insult or be mean about it, but you did put the cart before the horse. I did it too when I was younger and getting into reptiles. Don't keep any herps you can't easily hide from the landlord or neighbors.

What snakes do you have? In Western Oregon/Washington, you could probably find somebody willing to take a long term loan.

I am still a little stuck in the brain. My bro that had the Boas
decided to really talk to me about what was going on. He is my
age (23) and does not have kids, so it is somewhat hard to see
where I am coming from, I just had a problem with how he was
taking the whole situation. We did however agree to move the Boas
to a different location- someone that could just hang onto them
for the season or two, breed them and see what babies pop out of
my Unique pair.
Yes sir I only have 4 Boas now. Used to have right around 24 but
It was just too expensive to keep up.
I doubt I could trust anyone from Portland/Washington. Just a lot
of bad news - DRAMA.
