Incandescent bulb in a reflective hood sitting on screen lid for heat, or undertank heater? If it's the undertank heater, what should be used for light?

Use an UTH for heat. Zoomed or whatever you can afford. If the enclosure is still not warm enough, then you can use a dome light on top of the screening. Use a red heat or black night light reptiel bulb. Its gives off minimal light, but gives off heat to warm your gecko at night.

Also keep the enclosure in a warmer spot in the house, not somewhere chilly.

Leos don't need UV's, since they're nocturnal. If you want your cage to look bright, have a heat lamp. I prefer that much more than the ground heater. The temperature should be around 90 degrees daily (no more than 93), a bit lower in nightime. If a hot day strikes your household, your cage can get really hot, hot enough to boil your leo to death if you don't do anything about it. Turn off the light to lower the temperature.
