I recently produced a pastel (originally called pastel jungle) that might also have a bit of the classic jungle look. She is the pastel in the middle with the cleaner background.

They are all way brighter than I expected (my first pastel hatchlings, think I need a different background to show it). I'm hoping the bright colors indicate they hit their 66% chance het ghost as their het ghost mom is also unusually bright. The middle one came right out of the egg unusually quickly after slitting. I forgot to check for yolk left behind in the egg.

Back in 2003 I produced a normal male classic jungle. I know he left the yolk behind. I'm wondering if there was some accident like a twisting that prevented him from absorbing the yolk and that stress caused his classic jungle appearance.

I wondered myself if it was linked to egg stress.
