Do you guys use wood stacks for your dwarf or baby monitors? I just built some 12 inch by 12 inch ones (2 inch high). I stack them like stairs. The light being at the top so they can choose which ever level they want...top is hot bottom is cooler. I had rocks before but I think these wood stacks are actually better. It literally gives the monitors more space in the cage, and it is more comfortable for them....I used that 1/8 inch wood panneling so the heat can go through more easily. I guess this method would only really work for smaller sized monitors. The bigger ones would crush/destroy the thin panneling with their weight and attitude. On my one cage I got the surface temp at around 130F the other I got it at 156F. Surface temp not air.
