These babies have been a very long term project! We didn't hit the odds and get the Bloody T+ that we were hoping for, but we were lucky enough to get some really pretty Bloods poss het T+ and some pretty T+'s poss het Blood!
These babies were produced by breeding two double het Blood T+'s together. We produced the parents about 5 years ago by breeding one of our Nicaraguan T+'s to a female Blood that was produced by one of the original Ron St. Pierre Bloods. These babies are straight Central American, and that's part of the reason we waited so long to try breeding the double hets - they are so friggin' small that even though they are mature, it just felt wrong! haha But this year we tried it, and got a great healthy litter, just not the odds to hit the Bloody T+ in a litter this small. We'll keep trying though! We have to get some pictures of the post-shed T+'s but you can see how pretty the bloods are looking!
