Best Diet

I purchased two 1 week old Savs and just love them! They are now 3 months old. Going to start breeding gerbils for a portion of their diet (stocking up the freezer). Is there anyone else on here that feeds off gerbils? I had them on crickets and mealworms - have now outgrown this stage. I breed both Lobster roaches as well as Hissers. Currently, they are both eating about 20 adult Lobster roaches per day but I feel the need to offer a wider variety during this critical growing period and something a little meatier. I have a shipment of silkworms coming for my geckos, amphibs, and skinks -- has anyone ever fed these to their monitors? I wanted to stay away from "cooked" eggs and obviously cannged dog food, etc....
Raw Quail eggs is another option right now and when they reach an appropriate size raw chicken eggs (personal source) will also become an option.
Would appreciate a few experienced opinions...thanks,
Sarah.

We use feeder insects (typically roaches) and rodents (typically mice) and that is it. Economical, nutritious, easy and proven : )

If you feed rodents - they contain all the varience inside them - nothing else is needed. Why would you "avoid cooked eggs"? Every once and a while when I'm lazy, I'll stir a couple eggs and nuke'em for a minute. Chop'em into mouse size portions and they're gone seconds.
