some nice clean bees...................

gotta love the hatching season with everyone posting pics, makes you want to post some too!

here's some super clean bees i hatched out in june..........

and here they are today......................

this is the lighter one you see in the hatchling pic

this is the darker one you see in the hatchling pic

both are females and have i some nice plans for them when they get big enough to breed.

Congrats! Those are some sweet lookin' bees. Definitely keepers especially since they're both females.

What are you using for substrate in their tubs?

thanks for the kind words.

i use coco coir exclusively in my entire collection. it's a bit messy at times but it keeps humidity extremely well and doesn't mold so quickly.

not to mention it looks a lot like dirt. it's the closest thing i can give the snakes besides the actual thing. for living in a rack 24/7 it's the least i can do for them.

looks like Coco-fiber type material. Comes in those compact bricks that expand a lot when rehydrated.
