Some Pine eggs

Nokturnel Tom Jul 23, 2009 09:51 AM

I have had a disastrous year as far as Pits go so these eggs are a very welcome sight.

I do have Stillwater Hypos hatching this morning, but other than these I will have a few Applegates and nothing else for 2009. It's a real bummer but after a few years of really great production I better not complain. Next year could be awesome, I sure hope so LOL.

Hey Tom, well done! The female in that shot is killer -- love that color. Hope you get a good mix with that clutch. I'll be watching .

Hey Tom,
If it makes you feel better, I too have had a crappy year for pits. Out of three snow bull clutches, I got five snakes; 3 snows, and 2 patternless snows (pictured). Out of two clutches of stillwaters, one clutch went bad and the other clutch of 12 produced only 3. The rest I found dead in the egg fully developed. I think the problem was that my eggs really did look like Trolligan's eggs! Oh well, the only way to go is up from here!
