Those are some really nice ones. I am not sure about the bedding though. It looks like they could ingest some and become impacted. I like to keep all of my babies on paper towels.

The bedding is 'hemp core' charles, its been used in here in the uk for many years now without any problems, i personally have used it for colubrids and balls without a single incident,
lots of uk keepers use it as it is safe and from a renewable source and not as dusty as aspen.

I might just be over protective but for my snkaes I would rather error on the side of caution. I wouldn't mind trying it on my bigger snakes though. So it's not dusty like aspen? The dust is the only thing I don't like about aspen. Is it only sold in the UK? How absorbent is it?

Hi Charlie, it does everything that aspen does, but its a quarter the price! Aspen is not manufactured in the uk , so all of it is shipped from the states, you can imagine the overheads on the final retail price.
I dont know if hemp core is available in the states, maybe it all gets smoked there ? or
