Quite a variation in those Gidi, congrats! Some of those look like they mimic venomous species!

Hi,

Yes the variation between the siblings is quite big. It is always a big surprise what will come out of the eggs.

Thanks!

Best regards,
Gidi

Hi Gidi,

I was wondering if you still have "pure" localities? In my collection I have Northern Russians, Yellow Chinese, Xi'an and Kazachstan diones.

Or are you animals all crosbred localities?

Just wondering

Hi,

A few years back I only kept special localities:
Like: Xi'an, altai, caucasus, north and south korea, north east china, kazachstan, mozdok, beijing, wladivodstok, central china and many from chersky mountains.

The special colours I have now are in principle chersky dione (red line), mozdok (melanistic = nigrita) and kazachstan (striped ones), so they also have a pure locality.

The point I stopped working with many localities is that most people dont find it interesting, they only want a nice looking snake, what i think is a shame. So I could not sell that many offsprings (100 in year 2007). Since 2007 I am concentrating most on the morphs. But still I have some from beijing and this year I will get totally new dione (new pattern and colour) from beijing also.

Best regards,
Gidi
