Hey everyone,
I am worried about my crested Tigger. Lately, he has been acting very frightened when I open his cage. Nothing has changed in terms of his surroundings and I no longer have any other reptiles except 2 leos. When I try to handle him he wiggles his tail, runs all over the cage like crazy and poops everywhere. I have had him since he was a hatchling and he has always been very mellow. I can't understand what is wrong with him. Any suggestions?

Animals are unpredictable. There is no way to tell what triggered the new response, but it is not uncommon and really nothing to worry about. A few of mine have change their personalities on me, some went back to normal, others are still get freaked out. The only thing I can tell you is give it time and slowly try to calm him back down.
