Herped the Santa Monica Mtns w/ my daughter Hadyne and ran into this girl.

Here she is w/ my daughter, Hadyne. The snake was found on the trails @ the base of the mountains around 2pm @ 84F. Alway fun to find annectens.

Very cool find, I never have much luck when I walk for snakes. I hope when my daughter gets older she likes going out with her old man as well. Here is a Mojave Rattle snake I found a couple nights ago.

Wow! That Mojave green is green. Beautiful Crote! I find them in Lancaster. What part of their range do you live in?
