Future Bruiser Sonoran

This 08 male Sonoran is only 30 inches long now but is feeding well. I've often wondered what the top end size range is for southern Arizona affinis as the largest I've seen in the field around here is about five feet. Activity periods and therefore food availability here is limited during the hottest part of the summer. I suspect that our affinis spend a lot of time underground this time of year as you rarely see them day or night until about September. Over time, it will be interesting to see how large this one gets with optimal food availability.
